The versatile actor Rana Daggubati recently took his admirers by surprise, when he revealed an upcoming project together with director Teja. He is currently at his annual event, San Diego Comic-Con, where the actor announced his upcoming movie Hiranyakashyap. His production company Spirit Media will bankroll the film.
The story is based off the Amar Chitra Katha comics, and the script is written by the director of the film, Trivikram Srinivas. Rana certainly is the best for the role of demon King. But, there is no consensus on who would be the director of the movie.
It is important to note that director Gunasekhar and his crew were involved for several years with the same production. Rana was to be acting under the guidance of Gunasekhar and production work was also finished. However, the film didn’t come to fruition because of unknown reasons and then it was ready to go however, with a different director.
